Attraction Marketing, the how to, on positioning yourself as a expert

Have you even sat at one of your mlm companies corporate events and watched the leaders go up on stage one by one…. wishing you had what they had, wishing that you were them?

I know I have! I remember sitting in my seat wondering what they knew that I didn’t.

Then I heard one of them speaking about having the winners swagger, when you approached or speak to people. At the time I had no clue what that meant.

Later I discovered it was positioning.

Positioning is where you’re viewed as a leader or expert. To really understand positioning, lets go back to looking at the top money earners in your company or even the top leaders in this industry.

They have what you want right? So because of that you see them as an expert or a leader within the Network Marketing Industry.

You want to rub shoulders with them, find out their secrets to success. You start thinking… If I could get all your prospects in front them my business would take off.

I don’t know about you but I use to be star struck when I got the chance to speak to one of my companies leaders.

The top money earners are viewed as experts and leaders because their knowledge and skill level are higher than yours. They have something you desire and value. They can teach and educate you, on how to get what you want.

Financial freedom, a bigger downline, whatever it is…….. In your eyes, they can help you achieve success because they have positioned themselves as an expert.

And people are attracted to them for that exact reason.

How to Position Yourself:

There are really only two different way you can position yourself as an expert or leader.

  1. Use Posture

    Fake it til you make it. Attitude and Take on the RED Personality (You know your going somewhere and they can either join you or be left behind.) This is kind of hard to pull off if you don’t have belief in yourself and your prospect’s see you as their equal. However it’s not impossible.

  2. Giving Value (Market solutions through a product, newsletter or blog) Come from a place of giving instead of taking. Be helpful. Give people tips. Teach and educate them on tricks you have discovered.

Example: Lets just say your in the Travel Industry and sale wholesale trips. You have an incredible deal to Disney land. Your instinct would say push the great price of the trip.

But here’s the trick. You talk about about Disney land and California. Tips on visiting Disney land. Hot spots in California. Good restaurant. You are just being helpful and giving recommendations. Well while you’re at it, you recommend a place they should book their trip.

Your prospect didn’t feel like they were being sold a trip. They felt like they were given a lot of tips and information about Disney land. So they didn’t feel threaten to buy from you.

Next time they go on vacation, who they gunna call? Ghost busters! Lol. –You– They will contact you. They will probably also refer their friends to you.

Becoming an Expert

You become an expert by providing useful valuable information to those seeking it, within your industry or niche. You become valuable to your readers or youtube viewers because of your knowledge level and/or skill set.

People are attracted to you when you know more about a certain subject than they do. You become their mentor, their teacher, The EXPERT. As long as you don’t lead them astray, People will seek your you out, seek your knowledge and unlimitedly seek what you have to offer.

That my friend is attraction marketing.

Note: Attraction Marketing only works when you have invested in yourself (education).

It would be silly for me to claim I was an expect at fixing cars, when I don’t have a clue how to change a tire. How can I educate you on cars when I don’t have any knowledge about them?

I would be exposed as a fraud instantly and I would lose all my creditability. Then No one would want to trust me again.

So before you go off giving people value make sure you know what the hell your talking about.

If you have no clue about a subject you want to talk about. Read books on it. Check out seminars about the topic. Whatever you have to do to bring your knowledge UP (your education).

This is your business. Doctors had to go to college to become a doctor. The books you read the courses you study seminars you go to. Are all investing in yourself, your education, It’s your network marketing college baby. NEVER STOP LEARNING!!!
