<p align="left">Okay so sometimes it&#8217;s not a simple as taking the exact name your where given at birth and branding it.</p>
<p align="left">Because some people have funky names like <a href="http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/07/24/talula-nz-name.html">Talula Does the Hula. </a><a href="http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/07/24/talula-nz-name.html"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="text-decoration: none;">Or they just face annoying challenges.</span></span></a></p>
<p align="left">
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Personal brand name challenges</span></h3>
<p align="left"><strong>Having the same name as someone famous</strong> The Hollywood actor – <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Brooks">Albert Brooks</a> was actually born Albert Lawrence Einstein. He had his last name changed to avoid confusion with the Albert Einstein that the whole world already knows about.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Having the same name as someone who’s infamous</strong> – As <a href="http://www.employeeevolution.com/archives/2009/01/21/want-to-get-a-job-in-this-market-control-your-google-rank/">Steven Moody wrote to Penelope Trunk</a>, “I am trying to get to the top of Google searches for my name, but competing with a Death Row inmate in TX and a con artist in Utah is proving difficult.”</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Having the same name as someone not famous</strong>, but for some reason they&#8217;re being found ahead of you online – even with his own blog and solid web presence, <a href="http://www.employeeevolution.com/archives/2009/01/21/want-to-get-a-job-in-this-market-control-your-google-rank/">Ryan Healy is still finding it a challenge to be found first</a> in search results on his name.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Having a name that’s also used regularly as a pseudonym</strong> – US police officers use the names John Doe and Jane Doe when they have found unidentified bodies. but if you search Facebook, there are many live Jane Does.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 0.28in;" align="left">
<p align="left"><span style="color: #000080;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>There are three ways to pick a name for  branding:</strong></span></span></p>
<ol>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;" align="left"><strong>Personal </strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;" align="left"><strong>Keyword </strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left"><strong>Brand </strong></p>
</li>
</ol>
<p align="left">
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"> 6 ways to use your Personal name for branding.</span></h3>
<h4 style="margin-left: 0.98in; text-indent: -0.6in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000080;"><span style="font-family: Liberation Serif,serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-style: normal;">1.</span></span><span style="color: #000000;"> </span><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Birth Name</strong></span></span><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-style: normal;"> –  Use the name your parents gave you.</span></span></span></span></span></h4>
<p style="margin-left: 0.98in; text-indent: -0.6in; margin-top: 0.17in; page-break-after: avoid;" align="left"><span style="font-family: Liberation Serif,serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">2. </span></span></span></span><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-style: normal;">Give yourself a nick name</span></span></span></strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> –   You could use your initials in different combinations and see how they sound together.   If your name was Thomas Robert Jackson  you could go by TJ or RJ Maybe JR How about BJ Or JT.  Of Course if you name is like mine Heidi June Morton  MH doesn&#8217;t sound that great or HJ. But hey if I wanted I could use HM. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="margin-left: 0.49in;" align="left"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Liberation Serif,serif;"> You could always use a single name Like Cher does. Or shorten your name From Thomas Jackson to Thomas Jack Or go by T Jack. See the possibles are endless. Lol, Why do you think I choose that name for my example.</span></span></p>
<ol>
<li>
<p align="left"><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Attach something to your name</strong></span><span style="color: #000000;"> – Like, Joe the plumber. I could go by Heidi the queen of marketing or Marketing Morton, how about Heidi the blog expert. Whatever. Just get creative. But remember while your getting creative and fancy with the names. Make sure if you attach a phrase to your first or last name it&#8217;s relevant to your niche. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left"><strong><span style="color: #000000;">Capitalize on existing meanings – </span></strong><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Check out the meaning of your name from a baby book or website online. Then you can harmonize that definition with the niche you have chosen. This work best when your name&#8217;s meaning is easy to grasp. But hey you don&#8217;t have to be limited to that if your name has a story to tell.</span></span></strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left"><strong>Take on a pseudonym</strong> – probably the most typical usage of pseudonyms are as entertainment (stage/screen/pen) names. Many Jews have used less ethnic-sounding stage names – Jon Stewart is actually Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz, Natalie Portman is really Natalie Hershlag – because they thought it would improve their chances of success. On the other hand, Caryn Elaine Johnson chose the more ethnic-sounding screen name of Whoopi Goldberg for the same reason. The advantage of a pseudonym is that using the list above for inspiration, you can literally design a name that conveys the meaning you want.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left"><strong>Change your legal name</strong> – You could change your name legally, just for fun.</p>
</li>
</ol>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">There is a lot of controversial talk about branding “ your name” one side seems to think that when you brand your name you will eventually become imprisoned by it. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">As soon as you shut your mouth, there is no personal brand. If you stop blogging, making video&#8217;s you stop existing. Your personal brand is like a shark that has to keep swimming or it drowns. When you’re ready to bow out, you can’t just hire a team of writers, because they’re not you. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">But on the other hand, your name will be attracted to whatever brand name you come up with because you&#8217;re the<a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/05/you-need-to-brand-yourself-like-companies-brand-products/" target="_blank"> Brands voice</a>. When it comes to network marketing you can&#8217;t hide behind the scenes forever you have to come out and show your face. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">And if people can&#8217;t find you online “your name” it hurts your business. Because people want to connect with you. Not some company name. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">Besides look at the name Zig Ziglar. People still know who he is today. His voice didn&#8217;t die. Tapes he made 20 years ago, were redone onto CD and are being sold today. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">By the way in case you were wander my opinion is you should do both. Mike Dillard did. Magnetic sponsoring is his company name. (I know I have plugged Magnetic Sponsoring, a lot but it&#8217;s truly a good example.)</span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;">
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">Now that I got off my soap box lets talk about using a keyword phrases to brand. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Keyword Branding </strong></span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">Take a keyword or phrase and use that keyword for your company name. If the domain name is already registered for that keyword. Combine the keyword with something else. Kind of like we did with your name. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;">
<p style="font-weight: normal;">
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Brand, Branding</strong></span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">Brands can stand out just like people do. If your willing to put in the work to make it possible. Like Nike and Kellogg&#8217;s </span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000080;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #000000;">Take the naming of your band as seriously as any business takes the naming of itself. Create a brand. If you’re creating an online business, your <a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/10/blog-the-heart-of-your-business/" target="_blank">blog pretty much </a></span><a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/10/blog-the-heart-of-your-business/" target="_blank"><em><span style="color: #000000;">is</span></em></a><span style="color: #000000;"> your business. Naming your blog is naming your business. Remember that. </span></span></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: normal;">
<p style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: small;">You have three subcategories of branding:</span></span></p>
<ol>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Unrelated word branding</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Related word branding</p>
</li>
<li>Related keyword branding</li>
</ol>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Unrelated Word Branding</span></h3>
<p>In unrelated word branding, your brand name is unrelated to what your niche is. If I created a blog about “cooking” and then I called it “Dog and company” What the crap does that name have to do with cooking? Nothing.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Related Word Branding</span></h3>
<p>Related word branding is when you use words that are related to your niche subject, in your brand name. For example WordPress YouTube Magnetic Sponsoring.</p>
<p>Even if you never have heard of these sites or seen them before, you could at least come up with a hint about their content based only on their names. The name itself is not solely responsible for their success, but consider that YouTube is a related word brand name, while Viddler isn’t. I didn&#8217;t even know what viddler was until I started doing online marketing. (not related enough, if you ask me). Google Video is a keyword-correct but boring and uninspired name. And out of these, we all know which one is the top dog.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Related Keyword Branding</span></h3>
<p>Here’s the thing about creating a brand: you can include keywords as part of it. It’s just not all about the keywords, that’ s all. Think about brands where the brand is the thing itself: Coffee Mate. Coca-Cola. Magnetic Sponsoring. (Yeah I plugged it again) Anyway, another way to put it: the name says what it does. Yet another way to put this: think verbs, not nouns.</p>
<p>The most inspired example of this in action is the “Dummies” series of books. What a brilliant formula! Take any subject and stick “for Dummies” on the end and you have instant keyword SEO power, plus a brand.</p>
<p>Now that is powerful branding. They win for keywords. And they can comer any market they want. That is the best kind of branding you can achieve.</p>

<p>Now I want to discuss some simple steps you need to take to get ranked in the search engines. So you can get loads of free, laser targeted traffic to your Heart. (Remember google doesn&#8217;t like your replicated website, these strategies do not apply to replicated websites.)</p>
<p>SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.</p>
<p>This is the process of raising your website or heart up the google latter for specific keywords.</p>
<p>Here is an easy example, Joe is on the internet he is looking for to buy a new car. So he gets on google and he does a search for car dealers. Well you just happen to be a car dealer and you made your website very attractive to google. So Google said, Hey I like this website lets put it at the top of the search results. <span style="font-size: x-small;">Note: This is a nature search conducted by google. Not a pay pre click ad.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Then Joe says on this website is on top of the food chain. Lets clicks on it. Joe checks out your website or heart likes what he see and then becomes a customer. Thank You google for free advertising. </span></p>
<p>Alright, I am convinced I know I need to know this SEO stuff.</p>
<p>Lets break SEO down to 4 key elements:</p>
<p><a name="more-174"></a><strong>1. The Crawl<br />
2. Page factors<br />
3. Site navigation set up<br />
4. Inbound Linking</strong></p>
<h3>1. The Crawl</h3>
<p>Hey you don&#8217;t want to be invisible, so someone needs to know you exist. That&#8217;s where search engine spiders come in, we will call them bots. Okay so the Search engine sends it bots out to “crawl” through your website.</p>
<p>Basically checking you out, inside and out, everything and anything they can get there grabby little hands on (text, images, links) they look at it. Hey they gottta know what kind of content you have.</p>
<p>You want the bots to “crawl” around your site. If the bots didn&#8217;t do their job, you could forget about the search engines having a clue about your website &amp; pages. And you could say sayonara to the Search engines indexing you and Ranking you according to your content.</p>
<h3>2. Page Factors</h3>
<p>The 3 most important on – page factors are Page Title, Headlines, and Body Text.</p>
<p><strong>1) Page Title</strong></p>
<p>The page title is found in the topmost sector of your web browser (the blue/black strip at the top of your web browser, with the logo of your web browser on the extreme left).</p>
<p><strong>2) Headlines</strong></p>
<p>Headlines are the names of your posts or articles</p>
<p><strong>3) Body Text</strong></p>
<p>Your body text is your actually post/article or content that helps the search engine or the website visitor know what the heck your website is about.</p>
<h3>3. Site Navigation Set Up</h3>
<p>Don&#8217;t ignore this aspect of SEO it is just as important as all the other steps.</p>
<p>If web visitors can&#8217;t quickly find the information they&#8217;re looking for, they will leave as fast as they came, and most likely won&#8217;t come back.</p>
<p>The search engine bots also need to to be able easily and quickly find what they are looking for so they can do a better job of indexing your site.</p>
<p>You need to make your site as navigable as possible.</p>
<p>Follow these 3 rules as a guideline:</p>
<p><strong>1) The more important the content, the closer to home it needs to be.</strong></p>
<p>Follow the (3 Click Rule) By trying to keep your Key (stuff you always want people see) Content within 3 clicks from your homepage.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Note: this is only a guideline to follow, it&#8217;s not mandatory, but it&#8217;s good one especially if you&#8217;re a beginner. </span></span></strong></p>
<p><strong>2) Use Common Sense to Group Content.</strong></p>
<p>Put content where it belongs . You wouldn&#8217;t want to put your shoes in your refrigerator. So don&#8217;t do it with your website. Always try to group your content logically to allow users and search engine spiders to sort through your content effectively.</p>
<p><strong>3) Don’t create a dead Zone.</strong></p>
<p>Create link backs, where you link pages together. Always link back to pages or post that were created before other post or pages. Don&#8217;t forget to link back to the homepage. Plus you get more play out of the content.</p>
<h3>4. Inbound Linking</h3>
<p>Inbound Linking is when another website backlinks (points back) to your website.</p>
<p>Believe it or not the more websites linking to your website the more search engines love you and the higher you rank in google, yahoo etc.</p>
<p>Why is SEO important? Because it&#8217;s free advertising for you and your business. Allowing you to generate free laser targeted leads for your business.</p>

But I will need someday so maybe I should start stocking up on it now. lol</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Yeah that was funny. But it&#8217;s not a joke that you need to be marketing to the right kind of people. Specificity people who are actively looking to solve a problem you can cure.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Just for fun, lets pretend you&#8217;re apart of a 7 trillion dollars industry “Travel” it&#8217;s also the 2nd largest industry in the world. (Banking is #1). So we know by the dollar amount a lot of people travel.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">And you just happen to be in an awesome company that can save people loads of money on travel.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">But we are not going to make the mistake and think well everyone travels, so they need to join our company and save money on travel. (Donald Trump owns his own online travel company, so he doesn&#8217;t require our services.)</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Those families that take a fun little road trip to grandma&#8217;s house each year, found their own way to save on travel. (Drive your own car, stay at relatives, lol) So they don&#8217;t want our services.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People with RV&#8217;s probably don&#8217;t want our services either.  Get the idea.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">So we know who isn&#8217;t our target market, now we need to find out who is. We need to break it down.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">1. Make a list of all the problems your Product/Service/Opportunity can solve.</p>
<ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</ol>
<ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Travel can relieve stress</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Travel more places on the same dime.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People can still afford to travel in a 	down economy</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">2. Make a list of potential Sub Markets (Your Market is People who Travel)</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People with stressful Jobs that need a vacation</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People who want to travel to Europe</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People that want to go to Disney land</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">People with a small budget that still want to travel.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">3. Now you make a list of your Sub Markets, Sub Market.</p>
<ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Basically you break it down one more time. Like this.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Market:  Travel</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Sub market:  Newly Wed&#8217;s going on a 	honey moon.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Sub Market of Sub Market: Newly Wed&#8217;s that want to visit Europe. You can even break it down one more time Newly Wed&#8217;s that want to visit Pairs.</p>
</ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">4. You need to make a list of each Market/Submarkets Fears and Desires.</p>
<ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</ol>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">This will help you get a better idea how to market to them. More specificity how to move them.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">By following this 4 step process you will be able to get a more targeted group of people. Equalling more sales and more money in your pocket. <img src='http://www.heidimorton.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<p><!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->A Funded proposal is Product that you sell your prospects and leads (before you pitch them on your opportunity). This product is inexpensive (20 to 60 dollars) and it Must be beneficial for your target market. You sell this product on the front end to help you pay for your advertising costs. Inside the product (on the back end) You cleverly plug your “real product or opportunity”.</p>
<p><strong>Why in the heck would you want one?</strong></p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Fund advertising &amp; marketing </strong>Campaigns and put 	<span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>instant CASH </strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">in 	your pocket.  By providing a  a retail informational product.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Build Trust with your Prospects (</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">It&#8217;s easier to sponsor a customer than a stranger.) By providing value (something that helps them) tips, tricks or techniques. Your prospect automatically begin to trust you when you help them get what they want. </span></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Note</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">: </span></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Value is not about you or how awesome your company is. Value is need to be something that is valuable to your target market. </span></span></span></li>
<li><a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/03/attraction-marketing/" target="_blank"><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Positions you as a expert/leader.</strong></span></a><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> By offering your prospect more than a opportunity, you&#8217;re set apart from the crowd. You stand out from everyone else who is trying to peddle their opportunity because you&#8217;re offering a solutions to your target markets problems. </span></span></li>
<li>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"><strong>Build Your Leaders </strong>before they join your opportunity by educating them through your information product. (weeding out <strong>t</strong>he lazy whiners and complainers.)</p>
</li>
<li><a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/05/you-need-to-brand-yourself-like-companies-brand-products/" target="_blank"><strong>Another thing to Help you  Brand Yourself</strong></a>.</li>
<li><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Create Momentum</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> and increase retention rate by showing you team how to leverage the “funded proposal” so they can have instant cash flow. And more rep sign ups. </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Competitive Edge</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> when it comes to competition because you have a unique offer that takes your business to a level. <li><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>Generates you free quality leads</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">. Eliminating talking to your friends and family ( in less you want to) By building a list of people who already have a business relationship with you because they opted into your funded proposal. Forget experiencing the pain of cold calling and dealing with people have no clue who you are. If you&#8217;ve done your job right your prospects will know who you are and they will be dying to speak with you. </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Because 	if you </span></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>don&#8217;t</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> have one you will be </span></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>stuck</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> doing the traditional </span></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><strong>out 	dated</strong></span><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> methods of marketing until you get one. </span></span></li>
<li>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">If you want to be a <strong>true leader</strong> in the industry you have to leverage this tool. Because all of the masters of this industry <strong>Don&#8217;t do home parties, Cold calling,</strong> Pass out flyer and all the other dirty work. <span style="font-size: small;">The top leaders market information that serves as a filter or funnel that pre qualifies their leads while paying for their advertising. (a Funded Proposal) Giving them a never ending cycle of leads and prospect for their business. </span></p>
</li>
</ol>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">I have no idea where to get started with a funded proposal. No problem! I will give you my secret weapon, the tool I use for my own funded proposal.<a href="http://www.marketingthenewway.com" target="_blank"> www.marketingthenewway.com</a></p>

		</div>
<p><!-- 		@page { margin: 0.79in } 		P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><img class="alignleft" style="margin: 5px;" src="http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/heidimorton/social-media-data-flow-chart-by-ann.jpg" alt="" width="350" height="306" />The internet has caused a drastic twist to the classic, “word of mouth advertising”. Recommending restaurants, movies, products and even services to your friends and family is what word of mouth advertising is all about. And it just got much easier because of the internet and social media.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Social media has changed everything. Now instead of being limited, to making friends with your neighbor down the street, you can go on the world wide web and connect with anyone for around the world.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">The crazy thing is 43.8% of traffic on the web is captured by social media. Google is in a close second with 33.2%. So with all this love going around on social media how can you take advantage of the piece of the pie?</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Simple, you need to become a information wave station. People Love information. Believe it or not if they see value that entices them to spread the word.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Where can you set up shop to give information? </strong></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">A wordpress blog. But not just any blog that talks about your family and whatever else you feel like talking about that day. This blog is going to be the hub or the Heart of your business. The big differences between a regular blog (that you update about your life etc) and the heart is the design layout and content.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">What&#8217;s that you say, You already have a website that your company gave you. Sorry but that is a replicated website. Google has seen a million of them and so have other people. That site isn&#8217;t unique to you and it doesn&#8217;t help you <a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/05/you-need-to-brand-yourself-like-companies-brand-products/" target="_blank">brand yourself</a>. </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>What can the Heart (blog) do for you that the company replicated website can not?</strong></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<ol>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">You can tap into all the major traffic sources (social media, Seo, ppc) and point them back to your heart.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Your 	Heart will allow you to market -Y-O-U so that you can <a href="http://www.heidimorton.net/2009/11/05/you-need-to-brand-yourself-like-companies-brand-products/" target="_blank">brand yourself </a> as a leader/expert.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">The heart will make it easier for you to market you and your business on social media.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Act 	as a buffer between your target market and your opportunity. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Build 	your own list, that you own.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Be 	able to market online with a reduced chance of violating your mlm 	companies polices &amp; procedures. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">You 	can actively use pay per click strategies. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Take 	advantage of multiple streams of income. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Make 	money off of the 95% of people who say no to your opportunity.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">You 	can make keyword rich content for Seo Strategies. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">integrate 	your heart (blog) with your Twitter, Youtube and Facebook. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Host 	content (video&#8217;s &amp; Articles).</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">You can start conversations about you/product/service/etc by engaging your audience through comments on your blog and on social media.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">A 	house for your funded proposal. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: small;">Your 	Heart Sets you apart from everyone else.</span></p>
</li>
</ol>

			</a>
		</div>
<p><img class="alignleft" style="margin: 5px;" src="http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/heidimorton/humanbranding.jpg" alt="" width="412" height="275" />Companies like kellogg&#8217;s, Nike and Walmart have done a great job at getting their name out in the public eye. So us the consumers recognize their names, logo&#8217;s and packaging.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Think about it have you ever made or eaten a rice Krispies treat?</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Of course you have.</span> </strong></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Now tell me something, if those treats were made with a box of crisp rice cereal a generic brand that is identical in every way to Kellogg&#8217;s Rice Krispies cereal. (Except for the name and the design on the box) Would you stop calling it rice krispies treats and use another name?</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>I doubt it. </strong></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Infact I am willing to bet that you would call that generic brand cereal by the name Rice Krispies.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Why is that you think? Because Kellogg&#8217;s has done an excellent job of branding a simple rice cereal. Snap Crackle and Pop.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Okay so what does that tell us? Well, us as consumers would be lost without brands. Not only that how would companies compete? A pair of shoes would be just shoes. There wouldn&#8217;t be anything special about them. Because they weren&#8217;t held in high regard like the “Air Jordans”. “For all the guys out there that think shoes are boring to talk about.”</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Lol. okay back on track.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Okay so I have a cute pair of shoe.  So ask me already where I got them.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">I picked them up at a little corner shop down the street across from maple.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">That gave you a clear picture right?  It&#8217;s didn&#8217;t. Huh. That&#8217;s weird.  What if I said, they&#8217;re “Nike”.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Now what would you say? Oh, now I said something you can connect with.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Like that movie Mel Gibson was in “What a Woman Wants” and Mel Gibson&#8217;s Character (which is a red by the way). Does an advertising campaign for “Nike” where he uses the tagline Nike, no games, just sports.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Yeah, you get the idea. The name (brand) Nike gives you something to connect with. A clear picture.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Instead of saying they came from the store down the street.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>That&#8217;s all branding is, connection. </strong></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">I will give it to you one more time, just in-case you didn&#8217;t caught it the first time.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Take Perry Marshall, Super cool guy. But what&#8217;s he known for? Yeah, Google Adwords. You hear Perry&#8217;s name, you automatically connect him with Google Adwords.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">One more. Mike Dillard? <a href="http://hjf.magneticsponsoringonline.com" target="_blank"> Magnetic Sponsoring</a>. Sure Mike has more than one product. But he known for what? Let me hear you say it. Magnetic Sponsoring!</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">So when I talk about Branding yourself. I mean take your “name” and make it famous baby. Become known for “blank”. Give people something they can connect your name with. But not just anything something of value.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Take one aspect of Network Marketing, Or Marketing in general. it doesn&#8217;t have to be that. Choose a different Niche. Whatever. And then Master it. Become the king or queen of _______ (you choose what goes in the blank:) ).</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">All it takes is one thing and then later when you have mastered that one thing you can branch out from there.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">That&#8217;s it, I just gave you the big secret to Branding. Become totally awesome at something. Show people how to do the thing your awesome at. The more people you reach, the more love you get. Before you know it your famous Baby. And you&#8217;re rollin in the dough.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: left;">Don&#8217;t forget me when you get all that fame. <img src='http://www.heidimorton.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><!-- 		@page { margin: 0.79in } 		P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;"><img class="alignleft" style="margin: 5px;" src="http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/heidimorton/attraction.jpg" alt="" width="301" height="137" />Have you even sat at one of your mlm companies corporate events and watched the leaders go up on stage one by one&#8230;. wishing you had what they had, wishing that you were them? </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">I know I have! I remember sitting in my seat wondering what they knew that I didn&#8217;t.</span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Then I heard one of them speaking about having the winners swagger, when you approached or speak to people. At the time I had no clue what that meant. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Later I discovered it was positioning.</strong></span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-style: normal;">Positioning is where you&#8217;re viewed as a leader or expert. </span><span style="font-style: normal;">To really understand positioning, lets go back to looking at the top money earners in your company or even the top leaders in this industry. </span></span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">They have what you want right? So because of that you see them as an expert or a leader within the Network Marketing Industry. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">You want to rub shoulders with them, find out their secrets to success. You start thinking&#8230; If I could get all your prospects in front them my business would take off. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">I don&#8217;t know about you but I use to be star struck when I got the chance to speak to one of my companies leaders. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">The top money earners are viewed as experts and leaders because their knowledge and skill level are higher than yours. They have something you desire and value. They can teach and educate you, on how to get what you want. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Financial freedom, a bigger downline, whatever it is&#8230;&#8230;.. In your eyes, they can help you achieve success because they have positioned themselves as an expert. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">And people are attracted to them for that exact reason. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>How to Position Yourself:</strong></span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">There are really only two different way you can position yourself as an expert or leader.</span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Use 	Posture </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Fake it til you make it. Attitude and Take on the <a href="http://heidimorton.net/red">RED Personality </a>(You know your going somewhere and they can either join you or be left behind.) This is kind of hard to pull off if you don&#8217;t have belief in yourself and your prospect&#8217;s see you as their equal. However it&#8217;s not impossible. </span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Giving Value (Market solutions through a product, newsletter or blog) Come from a place of giving instead of taking. Be helpful. Give people tips. Teach and educate them on tricks you have discovered. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">
</li>
</ol>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Example: Lets just say your in the Travel Industry and sale wholesale trips. You have an incredible deal to Disney land. Your instinct would say push the great price of the trip. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">But here&#8217;s the trick. You talk about about Disney land and California. Tips on visiting Disney land. Hot spots in California. Good restaurant. You are just being helpful and giving recommendations. Well while you&#8217;re at it, you recommend a place they should book their trip. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Your prospect didn&#8217;t feel like they were being sold a trip. They felt like they were given a lot of tips and information about Disney land. So they didn&#8217;t feel threaten to buy from you. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Next time they go on vacation, who they gunna call? Ghost busters! Lol. &#8211;You&#8211; They will contact you. They will probably also refer their friends to you. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Becoming an Expert </strong></span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">You become an expert by providing useful valuable information to those seeking it, within your industry or niche. You become valuable to your readers or youtube viewers because of your knowledge level and/or skill set. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">People are attracted to you when you know more about a certain subject than they do. You become their mentor, their teacher, The EXPERT. As long as you don&#8217;t lead them astray, People will seek your you out, seek your knowledge and unlimitedly seek what you have to offer. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">That my friend is attraction marketing. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">Note: Attraction Marketing only works when you have invested in yourself (education).</span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">It would be silly for me to claim I was an expect at fixing cars, when I don&#8217;t have a clue how to change a tire. How can I educate you on cars when I don&#8217;t have any knowledge about them? </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">I would be exposed as a fraud instantly and I would lose all my creditability. Then No one would want to trust me again. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">So before you go off giving people value make sure you know what the hell your talking about. </span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">If you have no clue about a subject you want to talk about. Read books on it. Check out seminars about the topic. Whatever you have to do to bring your knowledge UP (your education).</span></p>
<p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">This is your business. Doctors had to go to college to become a doctor. The books you read the courses you study seminars you go to. Are all investing in yourself, your education, It&#8217;s your network marketing college baby. NEVER STOP LEARNING!!!</span></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><img class="alignleft" style="margin: 5px;" src="http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/heidimorton/24_young_pilot_flying_a_paper_airpl.png" alt="" width="267" height="204" />Since Your business survival depends on marketing, who in the heck should you be marketing to?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Quick story:</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">When I was planning for my wedding 7 years ago. I made out a list of people I wanted to invite. My Uncle Vance was on that list. And I couldn&#8217;t wait to invite him to my special day.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So I busted open my bank account for $30,000 Printed up 20,000 of the same invitation, hired a pilot to fly over (Dallas Texas) the city my Uncle Vance lives in and drop the invitations all over the city and then I prayed My Uncle Vance would find one.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Just Kidding&#8230;&#8230;..</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I put his invitation in an envelope with his address licked a stamp and mailed it with the post office.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">For a minute you thought I was nuts.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Well I hate to be the one to tell you this. But that&#8217;s exactly how most people market their business.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I don&#8217;t mean they hire a pilot to drop their business cards all over the city. Even though they might as well do that. Because their marketing tactics aren&#8217;t any better than droping business cards all over town.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Because they fail to recognize their target market. They are still stuck thinking everyone wants their product.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I hate to burst their bubble but that just isn&#8217;t the case. It doesn&#8217;t matter how amazing and wonderful the product is. Everyone doesn&#8217;t want it.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Look at it this way, it&#8217;s like you advertising Denture Cream that taste like bubble gum to me. When I haven&#8217;t even reached my thirty&#8217;s. But I might need it someday so I should buy it now. lol</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Oh yeah and people over 60 aren&#8217;t your target market either. People who have dentures are your target market.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Then you break it down even more.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">People who hate the taste of denture cream.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Break it down one more time</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Denture users who like the taste of bubble gum.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Then You Market to them.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">

<p><!-- 		@page { margin: 0.79in } 		P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } 		A:link { so-language: zxx } --></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img class="alignleft" style="margin: 5px;" src="http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab25/heidimorton/96_couple_dancing_together.jpg" alt="" width="146" height="160" />I have been asked many times what is Attraction Marketing.  And for some reason I always remember the night I met my husband Brandon.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Let me tell you the story and you will understand why.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">One night a friend of mine convinced me to go to a dance club with her. I didn&#8217;t really want to be there and it showed because every guy who asked me to dance I turned down. Even if they were cute.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I was about ready to ask me friend if we could leave when I noticed a guy (Brandon) who had been smiling at me all night. It was puzzling to me because he had never asked me to dance.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Then I realized he was dancing by himself. I thought that was odd because I could tell right off he wasn&#8217;t shy. Why didn&#8217;t he come ask me to dance I thought, it&#8217;s not like he dancing with anyone.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Okay now, I didn&#8217;t want to leave. I wanted Brandon to ask me to dance. So I smiled back.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Then him smiled again. I got butterflies in my stomach, then I gave him another smile.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I was hoping he would come over and ask me to dance. But he didn&#8217;t.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I walked toward him this time giving him all the signals, I wanted to dance with him. He just smiled back and kept dancing.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The funny thing is several guys asked me to dance that night. And I told them all no. But now I had my heart set on dancing with the one guy who wouldn&#8217;t come ask me to dance.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">But I Thought to myself I am going to get him (Brandon) to ask me to dance. So I moved closer to where he was dancing. Still he did nothing but smile and raise his head as if he was saying I notice you.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I walked closer, this time I was right next to him. Giving him easy prey. We exchanged flirty smiles. Our eyes where now locked on each other. But still he wouldn&#8217;t come over. I could tell he liked me, why wouldn&#8217;t he ask me to dance?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As the night went on, so did my desire to dance with him. Until Finally I couldn&#8217;t stand it any more.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I asked him.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The reason I think it&#8217;s a perfect example of Attraction Marketing is this, The guy (who is actually now my husband Brandon) Didn&#8217;t act like he was desperate to dance with me. He let me know he was there and then waited for me to make the first move.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">See if he would have come asked me to dance he would risk the chance that I said no. Because that was my automatic response to everyone. Whether I wanted to dance or not. Then we might have never met, or got married.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">But because he waited for me to come to him, I wanted to meet him and get to know him.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So hopefully you get it, Attraction Marketing is when people come to YOU and ask you for products and services. Instead of you asking them to buy your products or services. Attraction Marketing is when people welcome you into their lives as friends. Instead of kicking you out the door.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
